This hotel is a stylish addition to L'Île d’Yeu, a tiny gem off France’s Vendée Coast. The island shuns flashiness, but Les Hautes Mers is simultaneously low-key and fabulous, with proximity to the port, as well as sea views a heated pool, contemporary yet classy décor and a wonderful restaurant.
