“History and heritage abound at Long Crendon Manor in rural Buckinghamshire. Atmospheric and dramatic rooms are crammed with antiques and period features plus there's a lovely garden and welcoming hosts. Breakfast in the vast dining room includes home grown pork. A stellar B&B.”

Hotel review

Rich with history and charm, Long Crendon Manor has retained all the brilliance of its magnificent heritage. The manor dates back to the Norman conquest and was gifted to Sir Walter Giffard after his efforts at the Battle of Hastings. The house has taken on many evolutions since then but its interiors and furnishings all point back to its historic significance. The wonderful rooms are decorated with antique beds, period furnishings and original wooden beaming. Step outside and into a beautifully cultured garden with pristine lawns and rows of flowers. In the summer, there is an outdoor pool to unwind beside and the surrounding area is full of beautiful walking routes. A Home County gem.
