An unbeatable location cradles this picturesque stone hotel in the Matarrana mountains. It has something of the beach about it because of its laid back ambience and glorious sun terraces. Yet, it is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, rivers, and gorges ideal for swimming, kayaking, walking, fishing, wine tasting and all sorts of excellent fresh air activities. There's no restaurant, rather a delicious Peruvian lunch and dinner by arrangement affair. 15 rooms are rustic, spotless, and really quite romantic. It's ideal for a couples rocky retreat or a family jaunt.
