Hotel Review
Located on a former spice trading site, each apartment in the chic Palazzo Morosini degli Spezieri is named after goods that would have been sold here. The beautiful, 15th-century palace is situated in San Polo, a fantastic location for visitors to Venice since it is central but still a residential area. Guests can enjoy easy access to the main attractions and idyllic canal views. The apartments are understated but luxurious; rooms are spacious and are dressed in a mixture of modern and antique Italian furnishings. There are full self-catering facilities which make the apartments great for families, and the recent renovation means that all the fittings are brand new and high-quality. The soft furnishings are cosy and in a warm palette, meaning you can really feel a sense of home away from home here. One of the highlights of the hotel has to be the canal-side terrace, where you can indulge in an aperitivo after a day out sightseeing. The on-site staff will be happy to help with planning your visit and their attention to detail marks this hotel out from the masses of hotels in Venice. A wonderful option for a self-catered trip.
