“A charming and utterly chic farmhouse turned boutique hotel outside Cacela Velha. Whitewashed walls and concrete floors are matched by vintage furnishings and clever up-cycled light fixtures and design quirks. The food is fabulous and your hosts are as warm and welcoming as they come. Heaven.”

Hotel review

We love everything about this place, it is truly a unique find. What appears at first to be simple and rustic, is, in fact, refined and artistic. The rooms are effortlessly elegant and filled with genius use of everyday objects to bring an extra something special to the space. You will no doubt find yourself scribbling down notes to copy at home! The fragrant gardens are stunning, filled with fruit trees and wildflowers. Breakfast is a serious affair which tends to roll on for quite some time and render lunch totally obsolete. Dinner must be requested in advance but is well worth it, with five delicious courses served under the stars and accompanied by excellent local wines.

Pensão Agricola

"Hidden along a country road in the bucolic eastern Algarve, the little white-washed Pensão Agricola, complete with the region’s characteristic chimneypots, has just six rooms and looks out over the swimming pool and meadows where Ernesto, the donkey, grazes between the many olive trees."
