“A historic hotel that has seen many a famous face and dignitary pass through its doors. Rooms are decorated in a French art-deco style with polished wood, roll-top baths and private balconies overlooking the pool. With 15 acres of landscaped gardens and tennis courts there is plenty to enjoy. ”

Hotel Review

Any hotel bearing the Raffles name has to live up to expectations and since Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor was taken over by the hotel chain it has seen an impressive turnaround. The interiors are perfection. Decorated in a French Colonial style with art-deco furnishings and some Asian accents this is a true period piece. Rooms are of an excellent size and feature everything you would expect from a classic hotel brought into the 21st century: capacious four-posters, fine silks, original art, claw foot baths whilst still providing satellite TV, modern phone systems and high speed internet access. No compromises here. There is also the Raffles Amrita spa, providing world class treatments and yoga classes. For dining, try some traditional Khmer pork dishes (they are like nothing you've ever tasted - delicious!) at Le Grand. There are also excellent French and Asian dining options as well as a bar for aperitifs. The number one choice for a stay in Siem Reap.

Five miles from Angkor Wat, this colonial-style hotel with 15 acres of gardens offers accommodations with Art Deco country furnishings, Cambodian paintings, and balconies that open to views of the pool.
