When the plan for Riad Sapphire was conceived, the aim was to create a relaxed, airy feeling, bolt hole in the heart of the medina. All eight suites succeed. With white washed walls, simple elegant furnishings and plenty of local craftmanship on display (including hand made wood latticing and custom made lamp shades). The two courtyards carry on the chic white theme - they are marble clad of course! Add to this a spa with pampering hammam and larger than average pool and you've pretty much ticked all the essential Marrakech boxes. The restaurant serves delicious Moroccan/European cuisine (and offers cookery classes for the keen) and a large terrace with sweeping views of the Atlas Mountains is the icing on the cake. Book the whole riad for the best rates.
