Not just a hotel, but an experience as if you are in some amazing James Bond scenery. Situated on the edge of the Al Jahar" mountains, the Alila hotel offers the most amazing Grand Canyon-esk views, as well as amazing facilities. As a guest you feel incredibly welcome. Rooms are spacious with their own balconies and beautiful bathrooms, as well as king size beds. There is both an indoor and outdoor pool; Spa facilities, and the hotel organizes daily 3 hour walks in the area with well informed and friendly guides. The quality of the food is excellent, as well as the service, and the wine selection is both good and reasonable. The local mountain goats are an added bonus when you see them walking by on the edge of the mountains seemingly oblivious to the great gorge beneath them.
