“A smart hotel in a quiet spot near Bath's city centre. Simply designed rooms are clean, contemporary and spacious. The enormous windows offer plenty of light alongside fabulous city views. Indulgent breakfasts are served in the elegant dining room. An easy option for city breaks.”

Hotel review

Centrally located close to Pultney Bridge, this contemporary hotel occupies two Victorian villas. The interior layout is enhanced by an impressive architectural palindrome - an elegant double staircase feature that leads to the 21 well appointed bedrooms. A warm welcome is guaranteed in a place where cheery and attentive staff genuinely seem to enjoy their job. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean, some with views over the 7 acre Henrietta Park that the building overlooks. Breakfast is notably good with an extensive menu and thoughtfully presented. Afternoon tea is available in the dining area which becomes an atmospheric well lit bar and restaurant at night. Parking on site means guests can amble by foot via the remarkable irregular quadrangle Laura Place, into the town centre within a few minutes without having to contend with Bath’s complicated one-way system.
