“Relaxing, purpose-designed eco-friendly hotel overlooking Mawgan Porth beach. Rooms are decorated with contemporary furniture & local art. Enjoy sea views from the cocktail lounge and the stylish hotel restaurant. Expect fantastic spa facilities for relaxation and great outdoor activities nearby.”

Hotel review

Just below Bedruthan Steps and owned by the same three sisters, the Scarlet (“a green hotel overlooking the blue Atlantic”) is a fabulous addition to the Cornish hotel scene: commitedly eco-friendly yet also sybaritic, with the same arresting views of Mawgan Porth beach. The superbly designed building reflects its surroundings with infinity pools that seem to stretch to the sea and flat roofs covered in sea thrift and rocks to resemble cliff tops. There’s an Ayurvedic spa and excellent food from chef Tom Hunter. Truly relaxing.
