The Metropolitan Pub Company has given Londoners some of the best gastropubs in the city in recent years, and with The Victoria Inn they have expanded their model of hearty fare, a great selection of beers and wines and sensitively converted buildings, to offer simple yet tasteful and comfortable accommodation in 18 rooms upstairs. The pub, bustling even on a Tuesday night, has become a hit with locals, and joins the nearby Petitou café, Frank’s Bar and Bar Story in reasons to venture to a Peckham which Del-boy would not recognise!
