Tremaine Manor and country cottages is a charming, family friendly, self catering hamlet in rural Cornwall, situated between Looe and Polperro and not far from the fabulous coast. The manor itself is an imposing period property which can either be rented as a whole or split into two three bedroom wings. Its interiors are traditional and the feel is very much as if you're a guest in someone's well-loved family home; indeed it's adorned with plenty of antiques and objets d'art. The cottages too are done in very traditional style, with plenty of four poster beds, pretty floral fabrics and cosy woodburners for chillier days. Kitchens are well equipped and those sleeping four or more come with dishwashers and fridge/freezers as standard. For a more contemporary feel (and a romantic hideaway) we recommend you go for the shepherd's hut. It's been handcrafted by West Country artists and boasts designer fabrics and custom made furnishings, plus there's a charming deck with outdoor wood-fired spa bath. Children and dogs are welcome throughout the complex and there's oodles for all ages to do onsite, from feeding the ducks, petting the onsite animals, collecting the eggs to dusting off your tennis racquets or hitting the games room from a spot of pool or table tennis. All in all it's a real crowd pleaser, with something for all ages. A charming addition to Cornwall's holiday accommodation scene.
