Hotel Review
Five-star, all-inclusive, and child-friendly aren’t three terms you’ll usually read in the same sentence. But the Zafiro Palace Alcudia is one of few hotels on Mallorca that does combine this elusive trinity – and with panache. It’s set on the fringes of Port d’Alcúdia resort, so a short stroll from its long sandy beach, though most choose to spend their time within the hotel’s palatial confines. There are pools-a-plenty, including a pirate-ship splash pool and another just for adults. The swim-up bar is also popular with the grown ups, while a kids’ club covers most ages. Chic all-suites accommodation means lots of space to spread out, plus they also come in penthouse or swim-up varieties. Four eateries offer everything from pizza to ceviche, while a modest-sized spa provides superb views from its elevated terrace. And it’s all wrapped up in the signature contemporary Mediterranean polish of the Zafiro brand.
