Christianshavn is a cool and picturesque district of little islands, that's just a short stroll from the centre of Copenhagen. Brightly painted houses adorn streets which line pretty canals — there's a real vibe of Amsterdam here! You can also expect to find plenty of cafes and bars and high-end restaurants plus a smattering of sights including the Copenhagen Opera House and the Church of Our Saviour. We have only one hotel to recommend here — a converted barge on the water — but for a wider selection, check out the hotels in neighbouring Nyhavn.
