“This contemporary, six-storey hotel is nestled on London's celebrated Southbank. Industrial-chic suites bring the city inside; think: exposed concrete ceilings juxtaposed with brass fittings and cosy throws. Hi-tech touches add an extra, luxury feel. Head to the art bar for cocktails; a smart hotel.”

Bankside Hotel

This alluring addition to an increasingly chic part of London is almost as much gallery as hotel – with pieces of modern art on its walls, and even a studio where local painters and sculptors can be seen at work. But guests can also eat and sleep well in a hideaway that, for all its style, does not forget the basics.

Bankside Hotel First Reivew

The Bankside Hotel is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection but is independently owned, and sets out to be a hotel inspired by its terroir. And so there are Bermondsey ales and gins in the bar, and a lovely ceramic mural running along one wall of the restaurant with storybook scenes of riverside history – Viking boats, fishing and fire.
