Hotel review

Another small bed-and-breakfast run by two interior designers, Verhaegen is an 18th-century mansion house with a really individual feel. The interior is a mix of stunning period restoration and bold design. The original grandeur is apparent in the gorgeous breakfast room and there is a beautiful courtyard garden at the back. A great location for the city centre, only a few streets away from restaurants, shops and the buzziest riverside bars. Friendly staff are happy to help with local recommendations. Breakfast not included.
