“Rural Tuscan opulence in a fabulous country house. Regal rooms and enormous suites come in neutral hues with chandeliers, marble fireplaces, frescoes, silk upholstery and standalone bathtubs. This is romantic luxury with all the toys - swimming, tennis, wellness and farm to table dining.”

Hotel review

This 800 year old property in the heart of Tuscany was once a stop for pilgrims en route to San Galgano, and has been transformed into an outstanding country house hotel, one of the best luxury hotels in Tuscany. Each of the spacious 22 rooms and suites have been individually styled, with a selection of well chosen antiques, bespoke beds, art and ceiling frescoes. Light and airy, they overlook courtyards or private terraces and include indoor and outdoor fireplaces, private pools, sitting areas, and small private gardens. Adjoining suites are ideal for families or groups of friends.

The infinity pool has far reaching views across the Tuscan countryside and is the perfect spot to soak up the sun. Culinary, formal and water gardens are spread across 13 acres of the estate.

Beyond, the 300 acre organic farm underpins their farm to table philosophy, which can be experienced in two restaurants, with a wine cellar showcasing 1500 labels from both Tuscan and Italian producers, whose passion for wine faithfully reflect the terroir in which each wine is produced. Al fresco dining overlooks beautifully maintained gardens and the hills beyond. Borgo Santo Pietro also offer farm-to-plate cooking classes amidst farm-to-plate cooking school amidst the kitchen gardens. The fabulous spa offers a wide range of treatments, many using herbs cultivated in their gardens, and they have their own Seed to Skin Tuscany skincare range.
