This is the Queen of Anacapri, sitting resplendent in amongst the handicraft shops and little restaurants. More formal in feel than other hotels in Capri, this is one for grown-ups. L’Olivo restaurant, the only one on the island with a Michelin star, serves light and innovative Mediterranean food in a dining room furnished with Loro Piana textiles, custom-made plates and glasses designed specially on Murano. The Spa, or Beauty Farm, offers a wide range of treatments from anti-aging, detoxing and weight loss to non-invasive, medical health assessments. Six of the 79 rooms and 11 suites have their own private swimming pool and for those in search of the sea, there is Il Riccio restaurant and Beach club in amongst the rocks.
