Conrad Tokyo

The Conrad, which opened in July of 2005 in the Shimbashi neighborhood, certainly borrows much of the Park Hyatt’s visual iconography and architecture: there’s the dramatic skyscraping lobby, accessed by a swift, ear-popping elevator ride; the lounge, with its floor-to-ceiling windows; the guest room floors’ long, hushed hallways, here paneled in a dark tropical hardwood that makes you feel as if you’re walking through a giant’s humidor.

Conrad Tokyo

A shiny lipstick-red lacquer sculpture sets a playful modern tone in the ground-floor entrance lobby. A combination of clean-lined contemporary design, Michelin-starred cuisine and five-star service has ensured it is a consistent favourite among business travellers and families.
