7 incredible new ski hotels opening this season
This is the latest in a wave of new hotels challenging the notion that Val Thorens, the highest resort in Europe, is only about high-rise apartments. The affordably luxurious Fahrenheit Seven is a complete refurbishment of the unprepossessing Mercure. Now a cheerfully decorated ski-in/ski-out four-star with décor inspired by the Seventies – the decade of Val Thorens’ birth – rooms feature a youthful mix of bright colours combined with vintage prints.
