Hotel Review
One of the oldest and largest Mallorcan properties, this magnificent 1672 finca dominates the landscape and boasts a unique elevated position with commanding views. From the vast sumptuous suites (some with super-king four poster beds) and generous marble bathrooms with underfloor heating to the lofty gourmet Oleum restaurant with its two giant ancient olive presses and overall 50-strong team of staff, this traditional hotel oozes luxury and grandeur. Guests can drink in the 360 degree views, simply relax in one of the cosy nooks, enjoy an innovatve cocktail or even dine in the treehouse overlooking the 30 metre pool with private cabanas. Foodies get to feast on a varied menu complemented by local wines (including wine from the hotel estate’s vineyard). Breakfast is a lavish affair with eggs laid by chickens that roost in the grounds. Art lovers will enjoy the owner's impressive collection including work by Marc Chagall, David Hockney and Christo.

Son Net has a choice of three dining areas; The Oleum fine dining, a la carte restaurant, The Gazebo outdoor restaurant for lighter meals, fresh grilled fish and meats and the Son Net Tree House for a unique dining experience for romantic lunches and dinners or celebrations for up to 10 people.
And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? The adjoining village to the hotel is small. However, there are several local cafes and “The Rose” restaurant.
Which are your most popular room types, and why? All 31 rooms and suites at Son Net are completely different in décor and character… Our most popular rooms are Deluxe Room winter time (views on the main house), Deluxe Pool Room summer time (great for families in summer)
What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms? We do not feature specific facilities for children although we do provide cots and high chairs for children in the restaurant. Children love exploring our gardens, feeding our animals (donkeys, chickens, sheep and ponies) and swimming in the Olympic size pool.
