Hotel Review
This classic heritage hotel dating back to the 1700s has had an elegant, contemporary makeover. Downstairs, it’s all about the dining room, decked out with muted earthy tones, with a snazzy, statement tiled floor, big mirrors and cool mid-century Modern-style dining furniture. At the back, there’s a buzzy bar – but no lobby, just a minuscule check-in desk. Outside is a chic white canopy-covered terrace filled with Parisian-style café chairs. Airy rooms in soothing shades of cream with pops of baby blue have features like big wooden-shuttered windows and natural parquet floors. Rooms at the front have the loveliest views overlooking the square. Elsewhere there’s a little rooftop for breakfast and a garden terrace for drinks.
