Hostellerie de la Tour d'Auxois is a charming hotel in the town of Saulieu. Brimming with rural French allure, the traditional rooms feature beautiful furnishings painted with a distinctive warm yellow design. Downstairs in the restaurant, the food is delicious and utilises a seasonal menu sourced from local producers. Here also, you can sample some of the region's world famous wines. If you wake up finding you've enjoyed the wine a little too much, the hotel's plush pool is the perfect place to relax and take it easy on a summer days. For those feeling a little more adventurous, the surrounding Morvan Regional Natural Park is home to excellent walking and cycling trails. An ideal escape.
