Enclosed by encircling woodland and in the belly of the Lauzerte Valley lies the Hotel Le Belvedere. Balancing old traditions with modern comforts, the property has exposed stone walls and wooden panelling, tiled bathrooms and modern artworks hanging along the bedroom walls. The rooms themselves have a contemporary decor still in keeping with the heritage of the property, complete with antique furniture and modern furnishings. The restaurant serves traditional French cuisine and has a handsome array of local vintage wines, and reception can help you find other restaurants in the local area. There is free parking as well as a charging station for electric cars. The Spa and Wellness Centre is a particular highlight: not only is there a heated, outdoor infinity pool, boasting panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, but there is a Swedish-style sauna, hot tub and gym on-site. Only 10km from Moissac, it is ideally located for exploring local sites like the Moissac Abbey, with its gorgeous millennial-old cloisters and mosaics.
