Ideal for couples wanting a small, perfectly placed hotel close to the grand landmark of the C14th Catalan Gothic cathedral in the picturesque harbour town of Ciutadella, with a roof top terrace with views over the old town. The beauty of this informal, contemporary hotel is the calm, spacious feeling of the artfully creative interior - deftly designed with subtle attention to detail. Hidden behind an inconspicuous entrance, a lofty reception area has open-plan seating where guests can relax prior to going out. To enhance the sense of balance and serenity, rooms have a minimalist aesthetic - simply decorated and furnished yet offering total privacy and comfort. Kingsize beds are draped with fine white muslin and are so sublimely snug it’s like sleeping on a cloud. A place to sit, a bathtub big enough for two, storage and hanging space are all well considered. A roof top terrace is a heavenly place to drink in the picturesque harbour town and gaze at the sunset. Breakfast is a highlight - set up at a long communal table with the most delicious assortment of pastries, jams and condiments. And to top it all, there’s a divine café next door and steam room, sauna and pool in the cavernous basement.
