Hotel Review
An incredible new project in the beach town of Ericeira, designed as a 'slow' hotel with sustainability at the forefront. The minimalist, concrete and wood structure feels earthy and organic, with rooms that make you feel completely part of the landscape with no sense of the hotel around you. With views all the way down to the ocean, the rooms on the ground-floor spill out onto the organic garden, which supplies many of the ingredients used in the restaurant. The food is sublime, with knowledgable and passionate staff eager to explain the dishes and offer wine pairings. The beef cheeks and cod, chorizo and bean stew were particular highlights. At just a 40 minute drive from Lisbon, it's the perfect place to escape the city for a night.
