Hotel review

A stunning five-star hotel on the Adriatric sea, La Pechiera, translated as "the fish tank", boasts a private beach, seven pools (one heated) and an excellent seafood restaurant, Saleblu, perched on the water’s edge. The bar overlooks the pool and is a great place to sip cocktails and watch the spectacular sunsets. 

Each of the 13 rooms has a terrace with sweeping sea views or overlooking the pool (some with both), with traditional interiors of muslin-draped four-poster beds and fine luxury fabrics, simply dressed with wooden and wicker furniture. Outside, natural terraces made of bamboo providing shade from the summer sun, and the beach has cabanas for guests.

A sauna, whirlpool and wellness treatments are offered on site, alternatively guests can use the spa at their sister hotel Il Melograno.

All in all, the luxury, though simple, design and magnificent location combine to create a tranquil atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing seaside break.
