“An intimate and secluded rustic tented bush camp . Reed and thatch chalets beneath a shady canopy looking over the grass plains. The nearby 'hippo hide' provides fantastic opportunity for close sightings of hippos, crocodiles and more. A minimalist camp, but with charm and character. ”

Hotel Review

Focused solely on walking safaris, this is a rustic bushcamp that epitomizes the legacy of the conservationist, Norman Carr and is an experience that every true safari enthusiast would relish. Luwi lies beneath a shady canopy of mahogany trees overlooking a grass plain that is regularly used as a crossing path by game moving toward the lagoon just off to the camp's side. With only four rooms the camp is minimal but has undeniable charm and character; the guiding is some of the best around.
