Amid the neon-lit happy-hour pubs, pizzerias, dance clubs and garish souvenir shops of Olu Deniz, this is an oasis. There’s no gainsaying the beauty of Olu Deniz’s surroundings, and if you stay here you can enjoy the scenery, the beauty of the lagoon and one of the best beaches in the region without getting too wrapped up in resort nightlife. Tree-shaded gardens surround a large pool, and the hotel itself, with its draped and shuttered French windows, high ceilings, painted wooden floors and whitewashed walls, wouldn’t look out of place in Provence.
