“Bohemian chic at this luxury hotel in the enviable location of Santa Teresa. Brazilian designs combine with the utmost designer elegance - rich wooden furnishings, soft sandstone and unrivalled views from the fabulous loft suite. A very special place to stay with a wonderful restaurant. ”

Hotel review

Hop aboard the rickety old tram and ride up the picturesque, cobble-stoned Santa Teresa hill. What awaits is, as one enthusiastic visitor proclaimed “the best hotel in Rio - you can keep your glitzy Copacabana Palace or Hotel Fasano”. Their rival may not be on the beachfront, but it easily compares, with its ethnic, tropical-chic design and out-of-town oasis pool and spa and its magnificent, panoramic views of the city. The adjoining restaurant ‘Tereze’ serves gourmet French-Brazilian gastronomy by chef Damien Montecer and the verandah rooms are a must-have. Be sure to soak up the live Bossa Nova vibe at the one of the nearby cafés.
