Sonne Lifestyle Resort

The Sonne Lifestyle Resort feels like a sleek property from a hotel chain with all the amenities you would expect, yet the resort is, in fact, a family-run business with great service and personal touches – thanks to the host, Natalie Läßer. The property is located in the heart of Mellau, known for its mountains which provide excellent skiing during the winter and hiking during the warmer months. The hotel is just a short 10-minute walk to a local cable car, which takes you to some excellent ski-trails. There is also a golf-course nearby. The wellness area is excellent with more than 4 saunas on offer, as well as a physiotherapy room and relaxation room. There is also an indoor pool which extends outdoors – overlooking the greenery of Mellau – as well as a decent size spa to relax in. A state-of-the-art gym is also available but you do have the great outdoors at your doorstep. All the rooms have wooden floors, a large bathroom and separate toilet. The mattresses are very comfortable and made locally. To top it all off the fine-dining restaurant offers an excellent 5-course meal made from local ingredients.
