Built in 1987 by Sotiris Nikolis, a self-taught visionary craftsman and former actor. The S. Nikolis was the first hotel to open its doors to guests in Rhodes’ Old Town, and sits upon the 2000 year-old remains of an ancient agora (market). Fragments of this bygone era lie scattered around its sun-dappled courtyard.
