If you can afford it there is no where else you should stay in Hong Kong. It manages to embody the spirt of the city, while breaking many of the rules- the rooms are positively large, the hotel is surrounded by parks and green spaces, there is a tree growing in the forecourt. The impression you get is of space, light and nature, yet you are in the heart of the city. The interiors are stunning, with thoughtful design by the famed architects Foster + Partners. The rooftop restaurant is the place to be seen on any given night, with fabulous food and views that are simply not possible from normal hotels sitting crowded by skyscrapers.
