“The Grand Dame of Bali, a well-run, traditional resort on popular Seminyak beach. Luxurious Balinese styled villas, some with private pools. Exceptional food served in a romantic setting, and an extensive spa. The perfect beach escape.”

Hotel review

Authentically Balinese, this much loved hotel opened in 1978 and was the first luxury resort in Bali. Wonderfully maintained it has aged like a fine wine and, to this day, few hotels on the island can equal its excellent service and mouth-watering food. Set in large mature gardens with 400 metres of beach front leading directly on to the coveted Seminyak beach, it is ideal for long seaside walks and a stone’s throw from some of Bali’s best restaurants, shops and nightclubs. The standard rooms provide great value; however it is the private pool villas that are huge, with 12 x 8 metre pools that are an insider’s secret and an absolute bargain.
