Spacious holiday resort that’s great for families and appealing to all ages. Themed throughout with industrial imagery to reflect its former tin mining location. As a result the rooms are masculine and grounded with heavy swing doors. The charm of the landscaping is pervasive. There’s a gorgeous infinity pool. The avenues are shaded with vibrant shrubs, cacti and scented Champak and Leelawadee. The trees compete for light and cleverly eclipse the buildings giving an overall relaxing green tone. Across the road is the beach that is walkable to the right but unattractive to the left. The Rivet restaurant has the better menu but for an enchanted setting there’s the Black Ginger, accessible by escorted raft. The Coqoon Spa, set in a wonderful ‘bird nest’ is well-equipped with soothing and pungent ointments. This resort is a mixture of the stylish and meeting touristic needs.
