If you’re keen to experience a wider array of beach bars, independent shops and fresh seafood eateries, base yourself on Great Exuma or Little Exuma. Great Exuma's George Town is well worth a wander. For outdoorsy adventurers and relaxed sailors looking to arrive by boat. Very secluded.

Travel Information

• Fly to Exuma International Airport on Great Exuma. Most hotels will be happy to coordinate an airport pick up for you in advance.

• Travel between November and mid-April for warm, dry weather. The hurricane season — July to October — is best avoided. The Christmas and New Year season is especially busy, so book your trip well in advance. Travel in late April or May for great hotel deals.
