About Trebeurden

Adored for its sandy beaches and rich history, Trébeurden is a popular holiday destination on Brittany’s superb Pink Granite Coast. Dotted with ancient standing stones and covered tombs, this fascinating region has been inhabited for thousands of years. Discover mysterious legends, hike craggy coastal paths, head out on the water or tuck into excellent seafood. With simple, self-catering cottages as well as lovingly restored manor houses to choose from, the best places to stay in Trébeurden offer a characterful base for exploring this part of Brittany.

Soak up the sunshine at Tresmeur Beach, Pors Mabo Beach or rocky Bihit Point. Stroll along the fine sand, clamber around tidal pools with the kids, or go swimming, kayaking and sailing. Divers and snorkellers will love delving into the underwater worlds surrounding the nearby islands of Milliau and Molène, whilst kitesurfers and windsurfers congregate around Goas Treiz Beach. Inland, you can hike or cycle on the windswept moorlands of Milin ar Lan, or go wildlife-spotting in the 280-hectare Bois de Lan ar Waremm and the tidal marshes of Toëno.

History buffs should visit both the Chapel of Christ and Chapel Penvern, and take a walking tour of the town itself. Foodies can sample local produce at weekend markets, or savour fresh seafood with Breton beer at one of the best places to stay in Trébeurden!
