Perfectly located to explore City West, the hotel is set in the transformed 1950s high-rise Bikini-Haus building, and welcomes guests travelling as couples, friends, as well as those in a family. The hotel’s urban jungle theme boasts playful interiors coupled with exposed concrete. Features in the public areas include bicycles dangling from the ceiling, illustrations and slogans on the walls, fur-lined hammocks and tropical foliage. There is also a small fitness centre, and a sauna on the ninth floor. Rooms are dimly-lit, mostly spacious, with custom-made furnishings and black-tiled walk-in showers. Hammocks are strung in front of floor-to-ceiling windows, with Jungle rooms looking out on to the Zoo, and Urban rooms looking over the City West skyline. There is no room service but food and drinks are available from the in-house bakery, or upstairs at NENI, the light and plant-filled rooftop restaurant serving East Mediterranean cuisine. Expect to find queues for the hotel’s popular rooftop Monkey Bar at weekends (guests get direct access).
