Hotel Review
The Adair Inn is a true gem nestled in the heart of New Hampshire's natural beauty. Warm service meets excellent facilities (a library, 'man cave' in the form of a stone-walled den with games and a fireplace, and spacious living room) to create an atmosphere of comfort, ease and serene joy. Delicious breakfast and afternoon tea are included, and for those guests who like to dine in, the restaurant serves flavourful New England cuisine. Dishes such as Woodland Mushroom Fricassee, Grilled Filet Mignon and Crab & Artichoke Gratin grace the carefully planned and lovingly prepared menu. The Inn has nine rooms, each of which has benefited from a unique interior design. Some rooms have fireplaces, some offer four-poster beds in gleaming hardwood and some come with such spectacular views of the mountains that you wan't want to budge from the windowsill. All rooms feature super-soft bath robes, Lindt chocolates, and snuggly armchairs. The sleepy nearby town of Bethelehem, New Hampshire offers its own fair share of attractions: The Bethlehem Heritage Society Museum, The Colonial Movie Theatre and the Rocks Estate (a pick-your-own Christmass tree farm) are within a short driving distance. A little further afield guests can partake in a seemingly never-ending list of fun activities in sun and snow: golf, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, hiking, biking, rock climbing, fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, ice skating and tennis.

Adair Country Inn and Restaurant
An air of yesteryear refinement infuses Adair, a three-story Georgian Revival home that attorney Frank Hogan built as a wedding present for his daughter in 1927. Dorothy Adair's hats adorn the place, as do books and old photos from the era. This is a luxurious, well-run country inn, with walking paths that wind through 200 acres of gardens designed by Olmsted Brothers.
