The owner of this country chic hotel modelled each of its eight suites on a story from her childhood. Thus, the "Unstoppable Explorer" and "Fickle Prima Donna" rooms were born. All are characterful without a hint of twee; gorgeous wooden desks, real fur throws and leather features. They also all have views, and some have balconies. The outdoor pool is flanked by an olive grove and is the perfect place for some R'n'R. However if you are prone to itchy feet there is sailing and diving in the clear waters nearby. The latest addition to the rooms is eight luxury glamping lodges, which are dotted throughout the olive grove and surrounded by woods, allowing you to feel at one with nature in your own elegant suite amongst the trees. Take your time over breakfast - an organic feast with local delicacies and products from the local farms. It's served until late morning so enjoy a leisurely lie-in. Every evening the chef provides a gourmet Sunset Happy Hour which includes local dishes accompanied by wines from the Maremma. Light lunches are available every day.
