“Cool and comfy townhouse hotel with a central location. Ideal for exploring Cape Town and enjoying the city’s foodie scene, with many top spots just a stone’s throw from the hotel.”

Hotel review

This historic hotel on Cape Town’s trendy Bree Street has 17 rooms, all individually designed by the hotel’s owner and each with a spacious bathroom. Throughout the hotel, contemporary and classical design are intertwined, with modern artwork, colourful fabric furnishings, antique wooden furniture and vintage framed photos. On the roof you'll find a decked terrace with hot tub. The hotel also has three contemporary apartments located around the corner, ideal for those looking for a self-catering stay. Breakfast is enjoyed under the shade of a vine from 1771, believed to be the oldest fruit-bearing vine in the Southern Hemisphere. Cheery staff greet guests in the lobby, which leads out into Heritage Square, home to buzzing bars and restaurants. Guests also have the option to support non-profit associations, such as a local circus school for young people.

Cape Heritage Hotel

'Quirky, characterful rooms bedecked with Persian rugs and Oriental treasures in an 18th-century building in the historic heart of Cape Town. It’s walking distance to all the city sights, shops and restaurants. Ideal for urban explorers, but not sun worshippers: there is no pool.'
