“A former hunting lodge surrounded by lakes and charming villages. Luxurious interiors include romantic rooms and suites with four poster beds, glorious salons, and two restaurants, one gastronomic. Natural water swimming pool and close to the mountains. Stunning! ”

Château de Germigney, Franche-Comté, France: revie
The former 18th century hunting lodge of the Marquis de Germigney, this Relais & Châteaux hotel has only been open since the millennium, but feels, like the best of French country hotels, as if it has been in the same caring hands for decades. Managed by Vanessa (who is English) and Arnaud Baert, it has immediate charm and is run by a tight-knit team.
