Hotel Review
If you’re picking up or arriving on a ferry to Athens you will have to pass through Piraeus, where the average hotel offering is, well, dire. Gallery Suites has completely changed that. A brand new and very well-built property of rooms and suites with breakfast terraces, a few minute's walk from the ferry piers. On the top floor there is also a communal terrace with views over the city. Comfortable rooms are done with a soothing neutral palette, plus you'll find generous bathrooms, and a kitchenette (cooker and sink) in every room (bring a pan). The location here is far calmer and quieter than the hurly burly of Athens, but if you want to head into the city, the metro and station are a three minute walk away. An excellent place to recover from or prepare for an Aegean voyage.
