“A boutique restaurant with rooms situated in the trendy town of Fowey. Rustic chic (nautically inspired) rooms are light and airy with soft greys and blues. The restaurant is worthy of a trip alone with superlative British cuisine served up comprising heavily of Cornish produce.”

Havener's

A collection of nautical rooms above Havener's Bar and Grill, a salty, pubby restaurant right on the waterfront in one of south Cornwall's coolest harbour towns. Wake up to seagulls, sailing boats, sunsets and dreamy views of the Fowey Estuary.

Teething problems over, this south Cornwall restaurant with rooms now offers cosy stays and refined pub grub that rival its riverside setting for the feelgood factor

Havener's Bar & Grill, Cornwall

It doesn’t hurt Fowey that a big-screen adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s My Cousin Rachel, written while the novelist lived near the town, was released this summer. Not that it really needs Hollywood’s assistance. Its photogenic hotchpotch of medieval and Georgian houses, sardined into impossibly narrow lanes that lead to the harbour, has long been a draw, and it’s in a plum spot on this harbour that you’ll find the grade II listed Havener’s Bar & Grill.
