Hotel review

For travellers on a budget, this has to be the best deal on the Lycian coast. On the outskirts of bohemian Kas, it has more than you really have a right to expect for the money, including a decent-sized pool, a roof terrace with views across to the Greek island of Kastellorizo, a TV room and honesty bar, and – five minutes walk downhill – its own bathing and sunning jetty on the seashore. Rooms are on the small side, but are bright and airy, the buffet breakfast (served on the roof terrace) is extensive, and the terrace is also the venue for frequent evening barbecues. For independent travellers, there’s a free pick-up/drop off service from the bus stop, and the multilingual staff will help you to arrange everything from kayaking and paragliding to boat trips and sightseeing.
