“A simple family-run hotel, in the charming castle area of Nuremberg. Located in a 14th century timber framed house oozing with antiquated charm. The sleek wood floored bedrooms have a more contemporary, homely feel. A great spot for those interested in history and museums.”

Hotel review

Hotel Elch is situated in a brilliant 14th century timber building and has a fabulous history dating back to 1342. The historic charm has inspired the modern renovation and bedrooms are now equipped in a style that suits the present as much as the original character of the building. Traditional hospitality and friendly, accommodating hosts will make guests feel at home in this idyllic town. Located in the 'castle district' of Nuremberg there are plenty of delightful spots near to the hotel. Hotelier, Robert Horka who's passion is evident at Hotel Elch can provide plenty of good local tips on what to see and where to eat. A romantic little spot, perfect for a weekend getaway.
