Alanya is one of the most picturesque locations on the Antalya coast; with crystalline waters framed by the Taurus Mountains, this charming, Ottoman-era town attracts visitors year-round in search of pretty beaches, great Mediterranean food and local culture. Hotel Villa Turka is located in the beautiful Alanya Castle, a heritage stone and cedarwood property that overlooks the bay from a tiered vantage point on the hillside. Many of the 19th-century castle's original features have been preserved, such as partially exposed stone walls and wooden verandahs. Guestrooms are dressed in Ottoman-style furnishings and boast sea and castle views. Breakfast is served on the hotel terrace and features home cooking from the hosts and fresh local produce. Evening meals are available upon request, and guests are welcome to enjoy drinks on the terrace at any time to soak in the stunning sea views. Downstairs on the patio, there is a charming pool and hot tub with a poolside deck perfect for sunbathing. It is a short walk to the beach from here, and the bustling town centre is ten minutes' away on foot. A stylish heritage stay, perfect for culture-lovers.
