Irongate Hotel and suites offers the perfect location for the tourist. Its situation really can't be bettered: walk out the door into the marvellous maze of small streets of the newly restored centre of Prague and it's only 5 minutes from Charles Bridge and less to the Old Town Square. This historic 14th century townhouse has been carefully restored and now offers a good selection of rooms and suites, which successfully combine modern amenities with period features. Although some of the rooms may appear a little dark, they are certainly spacious enough with large comfy beds, and are spotlessly clean. There is a breakfast buffet and a small cafe which serves drinks and snacks throughout the day, with a charming courtyard for sitting out in summer months. An added bonus for such a central location is that for a small fee, they'll take your car away, park it somewhere safe, then bring it back when it's time to go! An ideal base for exploring Prague and good value too.
