From the approach this could be any suburban Goan abode, it is so well hidden amongst the lush undergrowth. Upon arriving at the main house it is clear that is not the case. Comprised of two traditional villas renovated to make three modern loft suites this property is in a league of its own when it comes to boutique style. Built with eco principles in mind, parent company Shunya has the environment and the locals' wellbeing as much in mind as your own. Set amidst orchards of banana, mango, papaya and cashew nut trees bubbling plunge pools create a sense of zen that permeates the entire resort. They prove that sustainability and luxury can be a match made in heaven. Open all year round, in monsoon, when Goa is at its most viridescent, they attract a certain crowd: artists and writers get a special discount.
