Bright, modern modernist designer house in a wooded valley above the River Dart. The three rooms - Oak, Ash and Beach - each have their own front doors and a sit out sun terrace, plus access to the outdoor pool. The owners have filled the house with art, the bathrooms are full of slate and glass, and on a sunny day you could imagine yourself in California - almost.

Why do people love staying in your hotel? For the peace and tranquility of our private 12 acres.
What is there to do in the area or on site? We have two well known National Trust properties, Greenway House Agatha Christie’s home, and Coleton Fishacre. There are numerous river trips out of Dartmouth and the famous Kingswear to Paignton Steam train. With many coastal walks and drives and excellent restaurants there is something for everybody.
What kind of breakfast do you offer? Full English breakfast with local produce and a changing daily special such as Eggs Benedict or homemade fishcakes.
Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? We do not offer meals but can provide recommendations
